🔍 Purpose
The Unlink from an Organisation Profile feature allows an application or platform member to disconnect their organisation from a supplier profile that they did not originally create. This helps maintain accurate supplier relationships, prevents unnecessary associations, and ensures that organisations only remain linked to suppliers they actively manage or engage with.
🛠️ Prerequisites
The supplier/organisation profile must be linked to your organisation.
You must have the appropriate access permissions to manage organisation relationships.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide
📌 Condition 1: Linked with the organisation but did NOT create the profile
If the Application Member / Platform Member is linked to an organisation profile but did not create the profile, they can disconnect from the organisation using the “Disconnect from Organisation” option.
1. Go to the Organisations module.
2. Locate and select the supplier/organisation profile linked to your company.
3. Click Disconnect from Organisation.
4. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click OK to confirm disconnecting from the supplier/organisation profile.
Click Cancel to return to the previous page without making changes.
5. Once disconnected, the connection status in the Organisations listing will update to Unlinked.
📌 Condition 2: Linked with the organisation and DID create the profile
If the Application Member / Platform Member is linked to an organisation profile and originally created the profile, they cannot disconnect from it. Instead, they can archive the organisation profile.
1. Go to the Organisations module.
2. Locate and select the supplier/organisation profile linked to your company.
3. Click Archive Organisation to archive the profile.
