🔍 Purpose
This guide outlines the steps for establishing your Dow Jones subscription and demonstrates how to upload organisations (suppliers) for which you intend to access information through one or more subscribed services.
🛠️ Prerequisites
Users must have and provide Informed 365 with the following information to facilitate the set up of this integration service:-
Client ID
Username
Password
Type of Dow Jones subscription they have signed up to
Users must have subscribed to at least one of the following available Dow Jones service:
Adverse Media
State Ownership
Watchlist
Users must have a list of suppliers to upload to Informed 365 application allowing retrieval of information from Dow Jones database
Note: We currently only offer the 'Adhoc' option, which scans automatically every week. 'Continuous data feed' will be a feature in the future.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide
1. Once assigned access to Dow Jones, a new Integration module will appear in the Navigation menu of the application. Click on Integration to view the settings menu to set up your Dow Jones subscription:
2. Under API Settings, enter your Dow Jones:
Client ID
Username
Password
This information will be provided to you by Dow Jones directly once your subscription has been set up on their database.
3. Under Dow Jones Subscription, only click the relevant data feeds that are included in your Dow Jones subscription, then click Save Credentials.
To manage API Settings, click on Change Credentials
To remove API Credentials currently saved to the application, click Delete Credentials.
Important Note: Selecting all three data feeds without being subscribed to them, will not give you access to all three and is likely to cause technical issues in retrieving the information for the subscription you have paid for.
4. Once the API Settings and subscription details have been set up, you will see the Organisations section below the Dow Jones Subscription section. Click on the green + (Create) button to bulk select multiple Organisations you wish to see Dow Jones data on:
Important Note: The Organisation names in the uploaded file must match the existing Supplier names in the platform and must have a country listed.
5. Alternatively, click on the green + (Create) button, and individual Organisations can be selected from the ‘Select Organisation/s’ drop down menu:
