🔍 Purpose
The purpose of integrating a feed from an external database is to enrich the quality and scope of data within an application. Sedex data feeds into an application via an API. This data can be showcased on the Dashboard and used for reporting purposes. This guide will outline the steps involved in activating the Sedex API data feed on an Informed 365 application.
🛠️ Prerequisites
Users must have and provide Informed 365 with the following information to facilitate the set up of this integration service:-
The data the client wants on Sedex
Signed SaaS agreement, API Feed Addendum
Gravitee subscription (the Sedex API), including the username, password, and code given for their account.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide
Dashboard Widget Visual:
The Sedex feed can be visualised in the dashboard on your application with its own widget as in the above screenshot.
Sedex Overview Visual:
Sedex Overview Widget can be located on default dashboard or separated to custom dashboards with limited visibility.
Varying Views:
There are many ways to display the data fed from Sedex. Talk to your Customer Success Manager about the best way to display this information for your purposes.
