🔍 Purpose

This guide offers detailed, step-by-step instructions for implementing translations in a supplier questionnaire. It covers accessing form templates, selecting the preferred language for translation, and entering the translated questions.

By following these instructions, users can seamlessly incorporate translations into their supplier questionnaires, enhancing accessibility for a broader audience.

🛠️ Prerequisites

  • Organisations wishing to utilise translations on their form template must have the supplier questionnaire translated into the language of their choice

  • The application must have a Form Template available for translating the questions. If your application does not have a Form Template, please refer to How to Create a New Form Template educational resource

  • The Form Template must be published

  • The Translation function needs to be enabled by your Account Manager

📝 Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Click on the Navigation menu.

  2. Click on Forms module.

  3. Click on Form Templates tab.

  4. Click on the relevant form template you wish to apply translation function to.

  5. Click Edit Question (green pen) next to the question to access its settings.

  6. The Translating To drop down list with available international languages will appear. Click on the Translating To text field to choose the desired language for the translation to be applied.

  7. For demonstration purposes, we will select Chinese / Mandarin translation to be applied to the question which is currently in English language.

  8. Click on the Question field to copy and paste the translated (Mandarin) version of the question in the text field.

  9. Click Save to apply and save the translated question.

Please repeat steps 5 to 9 outlined above to apply translation to remaining questions on your form template.

Static information on the application will automatically translate to the new selected language along with the translated questions, when the Supplier selects their language upon logging into the application.
