🔍 Purpose

To outline recent improvements that make the Modern Slavery Dashboard clearer, easier to navigate, and better aligned with annual reporting requirements.

🛠️ Prerequisites

The Modern Slavery Dashboard must be enabled on your platform.

🚀 Summary of Updates

We have introduced several enhancements designed to improve clarity in your Modern Slavery reporting and streamline how you use the dashboard day to day. Below is an overview of what has changed and why it matters.

1. SAQs now show as Completed only when submitted

🔧 What’s new

Currently, SAQs are marked as Completed in the Supplier Engagement tab when they reach 100 percent answered, even if the supplier has not submitted the form.

From 1 January 2026, this will change. An SAQ will be marked as Completed only when:

  • all questions have been answered (100 percent), and

  • the supplier has submitted the form.

If an SAQ is 100 percent complete but not submitted, its status will remain Started.

🎯 What this means for you

A more clear view of which SAQs are fully finalised and ready for reporting and risk assessment.

2. SAQs are grouped into a reporting year

🔧 What’s new

Each SAQ is now assigned to the calendar year it was created. For example, forms created in 2025 will be counted in the 2025 reporting period.

Default reporting year

The dashboard now defaults to a calendar year view, supporting consistent and straightforward annual reporting.

For customers on a consortium platform

Because reporting periods vary across consortia, we apply calendar year as the standard reporting structure.

For customers on a standalone platform

You can adjust your reporting year away from the default calendar year through either of the following:

  • The Form Template linked to the Modern Slavery Dashboard

  • Platform Settings > Annual Reporting Start Month

For configuration guidance, please see our article Setting Up Reporting Periods/Schedules.

🎯 What this means for you

Clearer year-based reporting and an easier way to see who has - and hasn’t - completed an SAQ for that reporting year.

Suppliers without a form for that year will appear as Not Engaged.

3. A smoother, more intuitive dashboard experience

🔧 What’s new

We’ve introduced several usability improvements, including:

  • Instantly editing filters by clicking on any applied filter

  • Charts updating immediately when you change the reporting period

  • Clicking Engaged in the Supplier Engagement tab now automatically selects Invited, Started, and Completed

  • More consistent and predictable column sorting

  • Improved back-button navigation so you return to the exact tab you were previously viewing

🎯 What this means for you

Fewer clicks, less resetting, and a faster, more intuitive workflow across the dashboard.
